Esther Guerrero signs for New Balance team

Esther Guerrero Puigdevall, who was born in Banyoles on February 7^th 1990, I a female middle-distance runner. She is a young woman that has a very good career behind her bag: she started competitions 12 years ago more or less and by now she has won the Spanish Champion of women’s indoor and outdoor 800 meters competition and has participated in the women’s 800 meters  World Championships event. She is currently working in Banyoles as an athletics coach.

Last week, after being seven seasons with the FC Barcelona, she decided to sign for a new team: the New Balance. The motives behind are, basically, the new offers and aims that the new team has offered her, that can can make her goals come true: to qualify for the European Championships by finishing in the Spanish Championships top 3 and to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games.

Esther is a great example of a fighter who, after years fighting for its dreams, can make them come true. We wish you all the luck in the world!
